As more amenities are added to vessels, power systems are more heavily tasked than ever before. The initial start of an electric motor can be especially draining; drawing up to 8 times the full amp load. Some boaters must even turn off one or more appliances to turn on a motorized device.

When adding a compressor to your boat, be sure to examine its effect on the rest of your system. Our Digital Frequency Drives eliminate the initial demand spike common with other compressors. The Yacht Pro™ “ramps up” to full speed in a controlled manner, virtually eliminating the shock load normally required of your generator. Your generator runs more smoothly and delivers cleaner, more consistent power to the rest of the boat.
Additionally, our Digital Frequency Drive controllers interface with a wide variety of electric systems. For example, our YP35 system is compatible with boat systems of 200-240 volts, 1 or 3 phase, 50 or 60 Hz.
