Jeanneau Leader 9 0 Series 2 Air Conditioning by Mabru but the Unit is 115v? Introducing our SC09VI
This customer purchased the boat with factory air conditioning but wanted to be able to run the system off of batteries as he was used to in his previous boat that had our system in it. The difference was that he wanted to be able to run his cooktop and outlets. Sure, we could have just installed an inverter along with a DC unit but the cost would have been much more considering the additional work needed to run the new cabling as well as the cost difference between our VI units and DC units. We ended up deciding to remove his DTG12 115v unit by Dometic (about 115+A draw) with our variable capacity SC09VI (about 54A draw at full capacity) and the customer was thrilled when he saw the numbers during the walkthrough. These new units open a new market to customers who have the majority of the systems in place to run their units off of inverters but are using power hungry, on/off traditional units which simply draw too much power. 2024 Axopar 45 XC with Air Conditioning by Mabru Power Systems. Making boating COOL again!
The customer on this vessel opted for a generator to be installed on the vessel but also wanted to be able to run the air conditioner while the engines are running but with the generator turned off which we were able to accomplish. This system can also be installed with an upgraded battery bank to run fully off of batteries without the need for a generator installation with a runtime of about 6-7 hours with both units running at full speed. The units are our SC17VI, variable capacity systems. You can view our website at www.mabrumarine.com
